This year’s salute to the best and brightest in music talent really started with the 2016 Pre-GRAMMY Gala and Salute to Industry Icons. Held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Valentine’s Day, this star-studded gala is produced by Clive Davis and this year honored Irving Azoff.

We were awed by the sheer glamour of this Beverly Hills gala and the fashion trends for the next night’s big show started to emerging. Classic women’s suiting such as flowing blouses, tailored skirts and perfectly-fitting pants with sexy blazers showed up on the red carpet in a more modern, couture style. Fitted gowns in white, black, red and jewel tones with long, flowing trains were also on point.

However,Screenshot_2016-02-24-11-32-16-1 The GRAMMYs are always about the bling. Music’s hottest stars and fashion icons seemed to pile on the jewels this year with rings on almost every finger (such as those from Le Vian, Djula and Antonini) and ears dripping with white and colored diamond-encrusted earrings (check out the ornate designs from Noudar).

Suits and gowns from famed French designers took the GRAMMYs red carpet and stage. For example, the classic French design house Yves Saint Laurent dressed no less than Justin Bieber, Mark Ronson and his wife Alison Mosshart. Adele wore Givenchy as did The Weeknd. Ciara showed up in a plunging neckline and leg-cut outs gown by Alexandre Vauthier.

Italian design house Atelier Versace always shows up at The GRAMMYs. This year, Taylor Swift and Alessandra Ambrosio wore the brand’s innovatively sexy designs. Also from Italy, Gucci was worn by John Legend and Florence Welch.

After walking the red carpet and attending the Playboy Mansion after party, we were impressed with all the head-to-toe couture, sparkling jewels, perfectly coiffed hair and painted-to-perfection faces.

The GRAMMYs is definitely a ticket worth buying not only for the once-in-a-lifetime concert, but for all the fashion eye candy too.
