Think about this: You’re a savvy entrepreneur bustling between meetings with clients, events around town and travelling with your team members to manage a major project. It’s important for you to look stylish and sophisticated—from your business suit and bag all the way to the car you step out of when you arrive at one of your meetings. You need a car that complements your professional status, yet fits your personal lifestyle. Which car meets these demands and gives you a serious return on your investment? The answer: Lincoln’s MKC.
Lincoln’s versatile crossover exceeds the expectations of a mover and shaker. It’s sporty, yet sleek and sumptuous but not haughty. You’ll definitely capture the attention of other drivers, but you won’t be annoyingly flashy. Lincoln has mastered the craft of creating American luxury while maintain the simplicity and style that we love. The Lincoln MKC has enhanced our ideas of what having a Lincoln in the driveway means.
While covering New York Fashion Week (NYFW) for BlackEnterprise.com, I was afforded the opportunity to dash around the city in a brand new Lincoln MKC. The crossover handled like a sports car, but was sturdy like a SUV. I was able to tote around all of my business essentials and presentations in the spacious trunk, which featured a hands-free liftgate and comfortably fit a few of my team members in the plush leather and woodgrain cabin.
As a branding executive, I’m used to a red carpet experience. And the MKC completely blew me away with its welcome mat feature. When I was close to approaching the car, the exterior lights got brighter and a “welcome mat” emblazoned with the Lincoln logo appeared on the ground next to the driver’s side door. Immediately I was compelled to say, “My chariot awaits”, but only people who are fortunate to drive a Lincoln would understand that.
I’m usually not one to boast about tech specs over style and charm, but it would be robbery to omit the noteworthy specs that the Lincoln MKC offers. Everything from the push-button ignition to the collision warning made me feel like I was riding inside an intelligent car that wanted to keep me safe during my journey. The MKC also featured the Sync 3 technology, which allowed me to speak commands such as “call…” to make a hands-free phone call, “get directions to…” to pull up the navigation system or “play…” to start your playlist of tunes. With the MKC I was able to safely travel from one spot to the next and never miss a beat.
