Get Ready for the LA Auto Show

The City of Angels is gearing up for the 2015 LA Auto Show, and trust me, you don’t want to miss it. I’ll be #RidingInStyle to the show, courtesy of Lincoln Motor Co, to this year’s 10-day event, which is open to the public from November 20th-29th. It’s practically Christmas in November for every car lover in the U.S. Housed at the LA Convention Center, the LA Auto Show will have on display some of the most highly anticipated models from automakers such as Lincoln, Cadillac, Hyundai, Chrysler, Fiat, Maserati and Audi, just to name a few. With over 100 exhibitors in one room, auto addicts, don’t leave home without your license and registration, but do leave your watch.

Who wants to look at the time when you’re in the presence of sleek and sought after steel? Some of this year’s models to be debuted at the show include the Range Rover Evoque Convertible, the 2017 Mitsubishi Mirage, the Cadillac XT5 and the Infiniti QX30. For a brand exec like myself, who enjoys taking a new whip for a spin while on business, the beauty of the LA Auto Show isn’t just the shiny, debuts from some of my favorite makers, but it’s that I can get behind the wheel and do more than take a selfie.

Attendees will have the opportunity to test drive at least one of over 80 models and be envied by your coworkers the next day. Kids and teenagers can get in on the car madness as well during inaugural Safety Sunday, November 22nd. Safety Sunday will include appearances by police officers, highway patrol accident simulators and the announcement of the winning PSA for the “Drive Safe Los Angeles” video contest.

For the execs alike, the days leading up to the public’s display of the LA Autoshow, are the true days of glory with sessions presented by Los Angeles Mayor, Eric Garcetti,  Brian Cooley of CNET, Evan Melahy of Android Auto and Lyft co-founder and president, John Zimmer.
