The Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights organization hosted its annual Ripple of Hope Awards dinner at the New York Hilton last week, raising over $3 million. Alex Gorsky (Chairman and CEO of Johnson & Johnson), Hamdi Ulukaya (founder of Chobani) and singer Harry Belafonte were all honored with the Ripple of Hope Award, celebrating their leadership and commitment to global social change. Alec Baldwin acted as the evening’s Master of Ceremonies for the dinner.
Other notable guests in attendance included Hilaria Baldwin, Tony Bennett, Kenneth Cole, Maria Cuomo Cole, D’Brickshaw Ferguson, Peter Frampton, Whoopi Goldberg, Danny Glover, Van Jones, Catherine Keener, Keegan-Michael Key, Tony Lo Bianco, Patrick Kennedy, Chris Matthews, Gloria Steinem, Kerry Kennedy, Usher, Colin Kaepernick, and Alfre Woodard.
