Robert Mondavi Winery

When Robert Mondavi founded his iconic namesake winery in 1966, his vision was to create fine Napa Valley wines that would stand in the company of the great wines of the world, which he did, forever changing the course of the U.S. wine industry. The first-growth vineyard, located in Oakville, California, is renowned for producing some of the finest Cabernet Sauvignon wines in the world, as well as for its Sauvignon Blanc grapes. This grapes led Mondavi to craft his signature wine, Fumé Blanc.

The Robert Mondavi Winery Fumé Blanc 2018 is the symbol of Robert Mondavi’s innovation, a richer style of sauvignon blanc that still has the varietal’s signature brightness. This beloved bottle displays aromas of white summer peaches with juicy lemon citrus and tangerine zest in each refreshing, mouthwatering sip.

The Robert Mondavi Winery Chardonnay 2018 is a velvety white with notes of juicy peach, toasted pear, roasted pineapple, lemon peel and hazelnut on the palate. The wine’s long fruit forward and toasty complexity lingers luxuriously for a rich, creamy finish. This chard is best enjoyed alongside chicken on the grill.

The 2016 Robert Mondavi Winery Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon delivers mouth filling, deeply intense blackberry fruit across the palate with clove and cardamom spice. Complex and dusty tannins add structure to the juicy fullness of the fruit making this your reader’s new go-to cabernet pairing for grilling any red meat this holiday.

The Prisoner Wine Company

Bruno Solari and his four siblings, Giulia, Diana, Tony and Kelley are 3rd generation farmers in the Calistoga area of Napa Valley, California. The Solari’s farm merges old-school sensibilities with new-school techniques.

The Prisoner 2018 is a cult classic, recognized for its artistic label and untraditional blend of unique varietals. This red blend features enticing aromas of Bing cherry, dark chocolate, and roasted fig and is perfect for those seeking a smooth and luscious finish. An ideal BBQ-companion, this red blend strives to balance the fat in heavy meats, leading to the “perfect” bite.

The Blindfold 2018 is a crisp, unique white blend featuring a classic Chardonnay base. This full and balanced wine boasts aromas of lychee, citrus, apple pie and peach which culminate in a lengthy finish. You can pair this blend with a fresh, grilled fish to allow the subtleties of flavor in the fish to shine without overwhelming the palate.

The Saldo 2017 exhibits a dark ruby color with bold aromas of cherry, black pepper, and baking spice. This wine’s mouthfeel is elegantly layered and generous, making a mouthwatering pairing with ribs or grilled herbed lamb. Pop it on ice for 10 minutes before you pour for a cool and refreshing red.

Mateus Dry Rosé

In 1942, Fernando van Zeller Guedes’s, Sogrape founder and visionary, created the first Rosé wine from Portugal. Mateus is sold in a curved bottle that was inspired by the flasks used by soldiers during World War I. Since its launch, Mateus has always stood for quality and consistency and remains the #1-selling Portuguese wine in the world, selling 1 bottle every 38 minutes. In turn, Mateus Rosé is notably the first Portuguese wine brand while also carrying the greatest international reach among Portuguese wines.

With one sip, Mateus Dry Rosé is favorite from the label. Inside this stylish, gently-curved bottle shape you will find lively flavors of red berry fruits on the palate, a bouquet of alluring floral notes and a chic pink hue borrowed from the most picturesque summer sunset. Whether you are poolside, patio dining al fresco or enjoying the sound of waves crashing on the beach, this delicious rosé is available in both full size and mini-size offerings. Sizing aside, it pairs well with fresh salads, seafood, grilled vegetables, cold turkey and chicken, cheese and charcuterie alike.
