As I am writing this review, it’s a certified banger for this weekend already. On pace to make around $40M at the box office, the biopic executive produced by Will Packer and directed by F. Gary Gray gave the fans everything they could have ever wanted even though some things, like Dre’s sketchy relationships & arrest, were left on the editing floor. Clocking in at 2 hours and 30 minutes, the movie at times makes you want to yell “F–k tha Police” understandably due to police brutality thats currently haunting our nation. So instead of my traditional review in which you can find here, this is what Straight Outta Compton taught me through one of the most groundbreaking rap groups who revolutionized music and pop culture, N.W.A.
