Luxury gifting suites the week before The Academy Awards are packed not only with Oscar nominees, but also with some of the top lifestyles products, food and drink available today. Kari Feinstein’s Style Lounge
The Andaz LA hosted the annual Kari Feinstein Style Lounge. This two-day event was attended by hundreds of Hollywood heavy weights such as Jeremy Piven, Miles Teller, Keleigh Sperry, Kat Graham, Ruby Rose, Justin Hurwitz and Bruce Dern. Just some of the many products showcased in this ultra luxury lounge was luxury leather goods maker Pikagos, high-tech iDeal of Sweden cases, Votivo candles, Polaroid cameras, Teva shoes, Casper mattresses and Jamaica’s Palace Resorts.
Doris Bergman’s Valentine Romance Oscar Style Lounge & Party
Melrose Place’s Fig & Olive restaurant hosted the ninth annual Doris Bergman’s Valentine Romance Oscar Style Lounge & Party on Feb. 23. Fig & Olive’s signature French and Italian Riviera cuisine along with its long wine list was enjoyed by an even longer list of Oscar-nominated winners, presenters, stylists and industry VIPs. This year’s title sponsor was BUYWINE.com along with a stunning display of everything from couture gowns to bespoke tuxedos to jewelry, bags, fragrances, travel, cuisine, spirits, sweets and, of course, the latest beauty and skincare products.
Just some of this year’s attendees were Benj Pasek (La La Land), Saniyya Sidney (Fences, Hidden Figures), Dale Goldboldo (People vs. O.J. Simpson), Allen Maldanado (Black-ish), Dancing With Stars beauties Karina Smirnoff and Edyta Sliwinska, Sam Trammell (True Blood) and Steven Bauer (Ray Donovan). Guests were asked to donate unwrapped gifts for young adults as a post-holiday gift drive on behalf of Wednesday’s Child, which is a weekly KTTV FOX 11 News segment in Los Angeles with anchor Christine Devine. GBK Pre-Oscars Luxury Lounge
The 10th annual GBK Pre-Oscars Luxury Lounge was a two-day affair at a private $25 million residence in Beverly Hills. Some of the guests who dropped by to enjoy food, wine and luxury products was best picture award winner Moonlight director Barry Jenkins as well as best supporting actress winner Viola Davis. Th causes benefitted from this event: Sugar Ray Leonard’s foundation dedicated to kids with diabetes, Ugandan orphan non-profit organization Reach Up Reach Out and one Make-A-Wish child. Chef Fillipo Sinisgalli crafted delectable pastas and desserts along with paired wines from Heitz Cellars and Moraga Vineyard. Burke Williams not only provided on-site massages, but handed out certificates to the luxury spa brand’s new West Hollywood location. Thirsty guests were quenched by Earth Water and Snarky Tea.
