The 67th Annual Emmy Awards are on Sunday September 19th and I couldn’t be more excited! Of course, I’m anxious to see who’ll take home the coveted gold statuette and which fashions will grace the red carpet. However, before we get to that amazing part of the Emmy’s we can start with the lavish and “aaahhh-inspiring” gifts from the DPA and GBK pre-primetime Emmy’s gifting suite. As if the awards show isn’t enough to capture your attention, the gifting suite features goodies such as gift certificates, merchandise, trips and full-size “samples” from the latest designers and brands.

The gifting suites also gave me access to brush shoulders with a few Hollywood elite such as Alan Maldonado (Survivor’s Remorse) and Emily Nelson (Made of Honor) just to name a few. The mingling and photo opps were incredible. And everyone was genuinely thrilled about starting the Emmy’s celebration early.
Of course, after all that shoulder-brushing, picture taking and product viewing, grabbing a bite to eat was the next plan of action. The gifting suites had a wide selection of spirits and edibles to keep everyone satisfied and enjoying the evening.
Once I was done perusing the gifting suites, I hopped over to the Vanity Fair Social Club, where I ran into Nina Carter from Access Hollywood for a chance to catch-up on some work (this blog for instance). The VFSC is a pop-up work space for journalists and bloggers to do the work that keeps you guys updated on the latest Hollywood and fashion news. But of course, all work and no play makes for a very dull pre-emmy’s celebration. So VFSC hosted a panel with stars from “Mad Men” and “Scandal” along with passing around gifts and light fare.
