This Christmas season, Munchkin is offering the best stocking stuffer for animal lovers. Munchkin Inc., a company that has been producing baby products for over 25 years launched “Orcas Live in Oceans,” a multi-level campaign that is helping to raise funds to help build a coastal ocean sanctuary in the United States for captive orcas.
As part of the campaign, Munchkin recently pledged a kick-start fund of $1 million dollars. Munchkin CEO, Steven Dunn, personally reached out to SeaWorld to release Tilikum, to be the sanctuary’s first occupant. Tillikum was the main orca whale featured in the 2013 documentary, “Blackfish”. They have also removed the orca from their top-selling Sea Squirt Bath Toy Collection because “a bathtub isn’t big enough for an orca”. They created a touching video that showcases their efforts Orcas Live in Oceans down below.
Munchkin has made the slay of the day because, who can resist that beautiful face, and we love when company sales are apart of a greater good. The designed Orcas Live in Oceans t-shirts and sweatshirts which are available now for kids, women and men will give 100% of proceeds toward the campaign.
