Ford knows that a vehicle is more than a machine that gets you from one place to another. It’s an extension of you and oftentimes becomes part of your persona. That’s why they developed the “Be Unstoppable” campaign for their 2016 line of SUVs—the Escape and the Explorer. Ford intends for its “Be Unstoppable” tagline to be not just a marketing slogan for its SUVs but a motivator for all those who drive one. You’ll be equipped not only to take on the road in a Ford SUV, you’ll also be equipped to take on life.
Ford recently produced a marketing campaign that featured several “unstoppable” individuals. Here’s a little bit about them and what makes them unstoppable.

Tony Gaskins Jr.
Tony was a college football star when he first started facing adversities in life. Instead of focusing on his studies and athletics, women and the lure of fast money by way of selling drugs derailed him and got him kicked out of school. Back at home, Tony continued to sell drugs and also became a young husband and father. But his lifestyle led to disaster. His wife left him and took their son, who was in poor health, with her and then he was robbed by local enemies. At 23, Tony was in debt, had bad credit, a sick child and a failing marriage. He turned to God to help turn his life around.
With a new focus in life, Tony started with a book he’d self-published a year prior at age 22, What Daddy Never Told His Little Girl, and embarked on his journey to become a motivational speaker and media personality. In less than three years and acting as his own agent, manager and publicist, Tony appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show, The Tyra Banks Show and The 700 Club, all within a few months of each other.
Today, Tony is one of the most sought-after speakers in the country. He speaks to groups of all ages about love, business, success and self-development. He’s authored several books and is a professional life coach, an aspiring TV and film producer, and a business consultant.
The McBride Sisters
Andrea and Robin McBride were sisters who both become interested in the wine industry. But they were nine years apart in age, one lived in New Zealand while the other lived in California, and neither of them knew she even had a sister.
The sisters, who share the same patronage, met for the first time in 1999 and the seeds of a strong sisterly bond took root. Several years later, the idea of going into the wine business together took shape and McBride Sisters wines was established.
Involved in every aspect of wine making—from growing the grapes to making, importing, distributing, selling and marketing their wine—the McBride sisters produce a premium product with the community in mind. The sisters’ business is rooted in sustainability; it’s important to them to take care of people and the planet. To that end, they focus on three things: healthy vineyards, healthy community and high quality grapes. This approach integrates environmental, social and economic structure, all while contributing to a better quality product.
The sisters also do their part to minimize climate change by incorporating water management, soil health, and other sustainable practices in learning how to farm using new ideologies and processes in a changing environment. Today, there are three premium wine brands under the McBride Sisters banner and the successful business is thriving.
