In spectacularly refined fashion, of course, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars unveiled its futuristic concept car – the 103EX – at a private “grand arrival” reception during the 2016 LA Auto Show. Calling it VISION NEXT 100, the ultra luxury Rolls-Royce brand’s 103EX is certainly a very British vision of upcoming “luxury mobility.”
Held in Santa Monica’s vast Barker Hanger, the VISION NEXT 100 event showcased the 103EX as an autonomous (self driving) “vision vehicle.”
Rolls-Royce director of design Giles Taylor claims the interior of its 103EX is a “grand sanctuary.” Outside, the Rolls-Royce 103X’s design is so intriguingly different the brand says it will ensure its riders a “grand arrival.”
The 103EX is one of four such hand-built concept creations by Munich-based BMW Group, which announced its visionary vehicles last March as part of Rolls-Royce’s centenary celebrations.
